About us:

Isinglass models is a family run hobby business supplying fine scale drawings and other model railway items. We are based in the UK but can post to anywhere in the world providing payment can be made in Pound Sterling.  Please bear in mind that life events and full time jobs may delay orders and replies to your queries. The overall aim is to provide the best service we can to the railway hobby. For more details please read on.

Delivery:

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 week by Royal Mail 2nd class post, although at Christmas we will use 1st class within the UK to ensure delivery based upon the Royal Mails last posting dates. Drawings will always be packaged in a postal tube to ensure they arrive undamaged. As a small concern we don’t have an order tracking facility but if you do require an estimate of delivery, please email or call

Postage Costs

Postage is charged separately on UK drawing orders and is based loosely upon the Royal Mail cost of a 2nd class packet under 100 grams plus a small cardboard tube for the UK. This is a flat charge and does not increase with additional items. Orders to Europe and Rest of the world incur higher postage charges. These are worked out automatically and  take into account the number of drawings ordered. Please email details of your order if you wish to receive a tailored quote for P&P.

Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

Isinglass models adhere to the distance selling regulations. If you wish to cancel your order before dispatch, please email as soon as possible as orders received before 8:00am can often be posted the same day. If you wish to return a package within 14 days of receipt, please email to say so (or enclose a covering letter) and use the supplied tube to return the item(s) to 27 Grange Road. Please ensure the item is undamaged when you post it and we will refund the cost of the items. If you have returned the entire package we will also refund any UK P&P charged on the order. If the package is returned damaged then we’ll discuss this with you and come to an amicable agreement.

Enquiries and complaints

The most reliable way to contact us is to send an email to isinglass@edgson.net and we will get back to you. If you prefer to call, please leave a message on 07973 768080 and I will call back as soon as convenient. If you do have a problem with your order please contact us within 14 days of receipt but I prefer to be flexible and I will respond beyond this time frame whenever possible.

Your Financial Data:

Isinglass Models do not store your Financial Data for any reason. When orders are placed via the internet your card details are not revealed to Isinglass. If you choose to pay directly by card, your details will be destroyed as soon as we receive confirmation of the payment.

Your Personal Data:

Isinglass models do not share your data with any other organisation for any reason. We also do not send out advertising emails or letters. When you place an order online, your details are stored by the companies who manage our shopping cart (www.romancart.com) or payment systems (PayPal or Google Checkout). If you write to us then your letter is kept as a record of the order. The only use we make of your address is to print an  address label to improve delivery
