Gresley GNR 52'6" 1st class diner diagrams 75 76 78G
3 carriages built for the GNR from 1911 which differed only in internal arrangements. Diagrams 75 and 78G had traditional open seating and tables, whereas diagram 76 featured armchairs.
Redesignated by the LNER as restaurant cars, then 2 carriages rebuilt at Eastleigh in 1954 into cafeteria cars. Withdrawn circa 1962.
Interior detail includes seating for all 3 diagrams. Bogies include 2 x Gresley 8'6" std plus 1 x Gresley 8'6" HD , added under the kitchen end by the LNER in 1924.
