2 carriages, numbered 6463 and 6464 built to diagram 197 in 1935 for the eastern area (shorty carriages) with seats for 33 passengers and withdrawn in 1961.
Both appeared in teak livery in the LNER era, followed by Crimson and Cream, retaining the same carriage numbers with 'E' prefix and suffix.
