N Gauge kits

Isinglass kits in N Gauge

Carriage body kits contains 3 main pieces,

1) the formed body (minus one end) that fits neatly onto an Isinglass underframe (optional) or a Dapol 60ft Gresley underframe (not included),
2) a loose end
3) roof.

Underframes are available for all kits and have been designed to work with N Gauge Society bogies.
Isinglass bogies are also available and will be offered with the kit when an appropriate type has been produced.
Interior detail is also available for many kits

Any kit that is in my current 4mm range can be converted to N Gauge but where I've already converted a similar carriage the process is quicker. New releases will be guided by customer request. So take a look through my 4mm offerings and contact me to request a new kit in N Gauge. There will be a delay between request and delivery as the conversion from 4mm does need an element of rework on the CAD. The more requests I get for a particular diagram, the more likely it is to appear!

What about other carriage bodies? I'll look into providing other frame lengths at some point, including 58' stock. I've looked into articulated carriages but haven't come up with a solution yet, I'll keep working on that.

Once assembled, the carriage body clips onto an Isinglass underframe which comes preformed with batteries, dynamos and vacuum cylinders and appropriate buffers to fit.

A scaled print of the Isinglass drawing will be included. A 4mm scale drawing can be added as an option, making text and details easier to see.
